Day One with a brand new form of technology. Makes me wish I had read a little more about the fine art of blogging! Trying not to scream what with all these strange new terms floating around. And to think I always thought a dashboard was something in a car. Silly me!
But, I refuse to be afraid. I will get the hang of this. I will…I will…I will…
My plan is to share insights given to me through people I love, people I work at loving, the Holy Spirit, and God’s Word. What an awesome adventure! Reminds me of a poem by Robert Frost I used to read to my students at the beginning of each new school year. It was fun to watch their cool teenage expressions melt into a soft new wonder.
“An Invitation”
The Pasture
I’m going out to clean the pasture spring;
I’ll only stop to rake the leaves away
(And wait to watch the water clear, I may):
I sha’n’t be gone long.–You come too.
I’m going out to fetch the little calf
That’s standing by the mother. It’s so young,
It totters when she licks it with her tongue.
I sha’n’t be gone long.–You come too.
It’s my way of inviting each of you along on the journey. We’re going to have great fun. “You come too”!!
